To understand the word of God is to better understand God himself and to do so we must look at Jesus Christ. Staying constant in the study of the Word is staying constant in the study of Jesus Christ. Follow Jesus. To understand the word of God we must be doers, not just hearers. We must be spiritual. Keep his commandments. We must be his disciples in order to know truth. We must desire to do the will of God. We must live in integrity, departing from sin. We must have a desire to grow. We must obey the truth we already know. We must be watchful of ourselves. We must be constant in the study of the word. Work hard to get his approval.
